[Felicity]

"Yea. Hopefully. I don't know how we'd cope against anything heavier than it." She thought about it a moment longer only to suddenly smile wryly. "Could just outrun them I guess."

[Theodore Beker]

"On patrol? Easily. I'd hope you'd come pick us techs up before you run off on the base," he smirked.

[Felicity]

"Ah, yea, right." She looked a little bashful. "Course."

Tucking into her food a bit more she began to relax and to look at Theodore more closely. "So, HPG message. That's Comstar stuff isn't it?"

[Theodore Beker]

"Well Comstar maintains it but it is Star League tech... an if this is old SLDF territory..." he winked and sipped his coffee, "Could be all kinds of weird nonsense."

[Felicity]

"But valuable, yea?" It was clear what she cared about. Just like any good merc really! She reached for her water as she waited attentively for confirmation. Why else would scientists pay to come here?

[Theodore Beker]

"Oh, SLDF stashes are worth plenty. Even if it is half busted," he smiled, "Could be some old mech parts even."

[Felicity]

"... That'd be really amazing." Felicity hums cheerfully as she switched back to eating. She was on her toast now. Finishing a mouthful, she gestured at the food. "We're pretty lucky to have this. Can't say this is the norm for where I've worked before."

[Theodore Beker]

"The food is a surprising perk. I guess someone is footing a proper supply bill!" he laughed, "Last ship I was on was rehydrated soy beans with a side of cheap rice. Someone got hustled by some Dracs."

[Felicity]

Chuckling a little, Felicity nodded a few times in agreement. "Sounds like it. The last unit I was with had major command infighting. By the end it was a complete mess. More than half the group had quit before the Captain disbanded the unit."

[Theodore Beker]

"Rough. Well so far so good here," he said giving her a little once over as she bounced her head, "Well, it sounds like we are due some good luck, hmm?"
