Dire Circumstances (Day 1 LM, Mech Hangar)

[Felicity]

"Yea, cause of my baby, the Dragon and the Cicada. Sooner or later they always need replacing." Felicity looked up thoughtfully. She tried to remember when hers was replaced. It had been a while back. However, she was sure it hadn't seen close to enough use to be at risk of replacement. That required hundreds and hundreds of shots.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Maybe we will uncover an old League era cache," Andrea shrugged, "Filled to the brim with PPCs. And Highlanders. And Atlases. And mechs no one has seen in centuries."

[Felicity]

"Or Rims World mechs. They had a bunch, si Theodore?" She suspected he'd know much more accurately than herself.

[Theodore Beker]

"We are far enough out that it could be either. Honestly that is most of why I signed up," he grinned, "I want to get my hands on some of that old stuff."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea chuckled again, "I was just joking, but I suppose if an HPG that still transmits on its own is out here...who knows what is out there."

[Felicity]

Felicity frowns as she thinks of something. "Wait, wait, wait. If we find anything like that, would we even get to have some of it? Wouldn't it belong to the Echo Company, or do we split some of our finds?" She wasn't privy to the finer points of the contract.

[Theodore Beker]

"... so... and follow me here. *IF* it counts as battlefield salvage we *should* be in our rights," he paused, "So... be careful destroying any old fancy looking turrets?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"I...just suspected they would be more interested in the science and history aspects of a Star League find." Andrea rubs her head, "I mean, other than selling them, what are scientists going to do with a bunch of guns?"

[Felicity]

"Depends on the guns. Some were lostech for centuries until recently. Eehm, things like gauss rifles, si?" She sighed softly. "I'd really like one of those on a mech."

[Theodore Beker]

"I mean, it'd be a lot of money," the tech admitted.
