Final Assessment (Day 1, EE)

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"I was never given a callsign in the Hussars," Andrea raises a brow at the goldenboy comment, "Sounds like my older brother, but unless you have served in the Davion Heavy Guards at one point, I doubt it would be him."

She sighs, "You do not need a gimmick and my sword is not a gimmick, its a tradition. And technically a weapon of last resort."

Andrea straightens up as Yuri approaches, again she does not salute but her ramrod stiff posture suggests a measure of respect. "Sir." She relaxes as Yuri speaks and rubs her head.

With little need go be here, Thomas made his exit. No need to interupt the bonding experience.

[Yuri Creed]

Yuri, offered drinks to the rest, and then hefted his tub, and wandered off to the other group to offer drinks.

[Gillian Chow]

"Don't bother with too much 'first sergeant' business either. I'm still Bruun, or Sergeant Bruun around people who ain't Fortunate Ones, but that's all you need." He pauses a moment. "Any o'y'all have call signs? Reckon I've gotten a new one in every company I've been in, so we might just see what comes." He looks for the other mechwarriors' reactions.

“Works for me, First Sergeant…I mean, Bruun,” Gillian said, nodding.

The small woman accepted a can of stout from the Major and opened the top to be polite, but only took a small sip for now. She didn’t want to start things off with her new lance by getting a rep as the drunk one, after all.

Bruun notes Andrea's comments, including the tone toward Freja, and just snorts about the idea of having been in a Davion guards unit.

He nods approvingly as Gillian modestly partakes in a beer. Good God Almighty, is Andrea the only one who can hold her liquor here? he wonders.

Andrea rolls her eyes at Brunn's snort. Instead she accepted the beer, "Thank you, sir." She opens the can and takes a drink.

[Freja Fogel]

Freja seemed unconvinced; but the act of taking up the offer of beer prohibited an immediate insistence that no, she really needed a gimmick.

[Dorgan Bruun]

"There we are," Bruun says with something resembling calm and confidence. "Having a nice drink together."

The lance commander -- Creed is punishing me for some reason -- drinks the stout reflectively.

We all really need a chance to blow something up.
