Dr. Reinhardt makes a point of attempting to find the Quartermaster first thing in the morning with his mapping data on hand and prepared.

Nora was sitting at the base of a ramp, sipping coffee and pouring over manifests, cursing quietly.

"Morning Sarge, I have a map of the portions of the cargo hold I was able to scan. I also found a box labeled LRM's but I don't think it is one of our missing ones. It's labeled on the map for you"

"Ah... thanks."

She chuckled as she glanced the map over. "I bet a lot of that may have shifted during re-entry."

It had been an unusually bumpy ride.

"Still, at least it lets us know where not to look... did you get anything else to help narrow it down?"

She was already taking notes on her own pad - "Did they look like missiles from a previous company? If so, we might be able to use them..."

"That would be my estimate yeah, and speaking to the crew chief they definitely weren't part of the ships compliment of missiles based on where they were stored. You might need to have some techs check them out, and it's possible they have shifted somewhat again. I've got footage of my explorations as well, here let me bring up a screen shot of the box for you."

She looked at the screenshot in silence.

"Doctor, do you know what these are? We can't use these."

"I noticed the weight to missle ratio was off. These seem to be slightly heavier if I read things right. Are they the wrong size?"

"No, I think that's a packing error... but these are Artemis LRMs. They're Star League ammunition. They must've been sitting there for centuries, if nobody noticed and sold them by now."

Nora whistled. "This captain is a real hoarder, isn't he? I mean, imagine having so much rubbish you lose 240 LRMs and find a few hundred star league relics instead." Raising an eyebrow, conspiratorially, she added, "Maybe he's got more treasures hidden away in there."

"There are definitely some other Star League era boxes in there as well. I could almost conduct a whole archeological dig just going through his closets."

"Hmm."

Nora tapped her chin with her stylus.

"Seems sort of unusual, but maybe we just really are fortunate after all. If we don't find anything, maybe we can just do a dig on the ship."
