Morning shift was on and powered by several coffee urns situated just out of the bays. After installing the large laser into the Wyvern's new arm the tech took a moment to gather his wits and refill his mug. "I think that thing might just be working soon," he said to himself in an exasperated tone.

Felicity walked over to marvel at the repaired Wyvern.
"Hey Theodore, nice job! Is it all fixed?"
She might not have got along with Maja, but she didn't wish harm upon the woman. Seeing her mech back in fully operational condition was a relief. It meant their fighting capacity was back up to scratch.

There's a sound like distant thunder which resolves into the rapid stomping of boots as Maja thunders into the hangar and then over to her mech, the pilot's eyes wide as she breathes heavily. Evidently she had been waiting second by agonising second for days for this exact moment.
"Oh you have fixed my beautiful girl! Look at her, so tall and strong, better than knew even. James I could be kissing you now for your great genius with wrenches."
There's even spare smiles for Felicity too
"He has done outside himself I think!"

"Man, I must be too covered in welding soot," Theodore laughed, "This time of day James is half in a coma in the bunks. 'Sides he was in charge of fixing the Thorn. She just needs some finishing work with the electronics on the small lasers but that won't take more than a few hours. Wurm should be fully operational by noon at the latest."

Felicity was pleased for the smaller woman. It was tough for a mechwarrior to have their ride undergoing repair.
"Yea, he has. I'm glad your Wyvern is nearly ready for action." She hesitates before adding a few more words. "No more trying to jump on Hetzers, okay?" Or anything else with an AC-20.

"Ach ach, Herr Bruun has already told me this in many words. The Hetzer, it is small but tough yes? Next time I will just be melting its wheels."

"Good plan. They're a big gun on a box on wheels. Wheels don't take well to laser fire," he grinned even if he suspected that kiss wasn't coming, "Anyways, I did my job just do yours. I am no good at fighting battlemechs."

"You ought to advise her not to try jumping on anything. Death from above isn't worth the risk." Felicity grumbled toward Theodore. The idea Maja might only refrain from jumping on Hetzers unnerved her.

“Ja, I will fight as twice the strength after your work. Hopefully I will only be seeing you in personal volume, yes? Poor Wurm does not deserve to be spending her life being put back together.

Quiet sigh“It was nice to be the big one for once, but jumping is not the way of a first sergeant, the sergeant must behind and do the groundhitting”
