Day 19 (Dec 29-Jan 2)

With the departure of the mystery dropship, making a break for the southern Nadir jump point, it seemed unlikely there would be any answers on that front. Still, the damage had been been tame enough... and the Rockeater Queen had been good for her word - not taking advantage of the maimed state of the Fortunate Ones to take what they had. Perhaps Pirate was no longer a fitting word for her - though most still used it.

The Calico was continuing to undergo repairs to make it ready for lift, and the facilities in Tartarus had been secured by Yokai Matsuri infantry to examine, while those taken from Illium were offered a chance to return home, and those captives from other places were offered a chance to ride with the Queen, though none accepted. It seemed One of the three dropships now available to the Fortunate Ones might carry them off world, when returning Echo Company personnel and those on commission to a transport to Galatea.

For now, there was time to finally dig through their finds without threat of imminent danger, and when the allotted contract time expired... they would all have to choose their next steps.

Weather (Asphodel): The day dawns clear and breezy, with highs loitering around the mid 60s Fahrenheit. The gentler weather is a welcome respite after several difficult battles, and southerly breeze even makes Tartarus somewhat pleasant.
Weather (Limbo): The Day dawns bright and clear, and though temperatures never rise above freezing, the sun staves off the worst of the cold, and the breeze blowing from the north carries hints of warmth that avoid it biting too deeply.
