Reinhardt is on the bridge of the Fury. "Remember we just want a to get close enough for sensors, but stay away from the mines, well clear, I just want to see if there is anything standing on the other part of the continent worth taking a look at later." he briefs the pilot.

"What can we expect when we get there, Doctor?" Aly asked.

"According to reports, several bombed out cities." He shakes his head, "We are supposed to be checking for any possible archeological sites"

Thomas stayed out of the way, not really feeling too much in the mood for exploration. Not that he would really say as much out loud.

Colette had joined the exploration as she logged the overview of the few places she found interesting. It wasn't her best work seems that Sr Moreno's energy is making Colette lose some focus. Still there was a good video.

The dropship dipped under the clouds over Tartarus triggering almost immediate alerts that the ambient radiation was above normal and unsafe for long term habitation. The landscape below was worse than they had expected, a blasted landscape of jagged rock and stunted growth in the volcanic soil - the plants growing fast, dying fast, and continuing that cycle. The first city on the old maps wasn't even visible from the air... the area it should have been was simply a flat expanse, so badly bombed that it was as much a large disc of smooth melted rock as anything else.
It seemed unlikely there would be anything of value there.

Aly looked out at the broken land below. "That does not look promising."

"Yeah, i mean if they dug deep there may be somethign underground. It's going to be a major excavation to find anything like that though, if there is even anything to find." Which was doubtful to say the least.
