One in front of the other. (Day 15 Early Morning)

[Thomas Moreno]

It was cold, colder then he liked but that didn't stop Thomas from his morning exercise. Dressed for the weather, he gamely jogged around the perimeter fence, huffing and puffing from the exertion. Most of the camp had wandered off to limbo, but he had about as much business there as a hawk had in space.

Not that he was really minded, they all couldn't just leave the base and go gallivanting around the world.

[Colette Rupelle]

It has been a while since Colette did some exercise perhaps warm up a bit in this chilly day. Probably behind Thomas since her short legs wouldn't allow her to catch up.

[Thomas Moreno]

"You know, Miss Collette." Thomas called over his shoulder. "You're the first person to ever join me in exercise." There was a bit of humor in his tone at that. Apparently it wasn't something he had been expecting.

[Colette Rupelle]

She huffed and puffed. "It is a good way... to keep... warm..." she tried to pace herself.

[Thomas Moreno]

"Gets your blood pumping, that's for certain." He agreed, coming to a halt for a few moments to catch his breath, and perhaps let the young woman do the same.

[Colette Rupelle]

She caught up to the man. She stopped to take a rest. "It does... it has been a... while... since I have... run like zis..." She caught up her breath. "I need to burn some of my calorie intake. Not that I stay put."

[Thomas Moreno]

"Think your gonna find yourself a plump chef if you don't get moving?" He asked with a playful smile.

"I do exercise most mornings though, and you're free to join me if ta like." The company at the very least would be nice.

Colette chuckled. "Mais non... me looking like a plum ze Calico chef would cook me." She giggled. "Zat man is really worried about me taking his job." She shook her head. "I don't zink I could take over as ze head chef of ze Calico."

[Thomas Moreno]

"Well, you seem to have another job already for starters." He offered the young woman a playful wink. "A bit odd to be considering another unless the pay is better."

He looked her over for a moment. "Personally though I think you're a bit small for a meal though, even if you were shaped like a plum."

Colette giggled. "I don't know how long ze Echo exploration team will need me as chef zough." She took a deep breath. "I try my best to do a bit of everyzing so two zings I don't get bored and learn." she nodded sagely.
