What was it like playing a character someone else had created? How much was Rein's help just putting mechanics to a concept you were already envisioning?

In general, what did you think of your first visit to the Battletech universe?

Languages: English, half-remembered Spanish.
Carries: Durable and functional clothing, revolver, laser pistol and winning personality. Pretty religiously wearing, as of D16, his Fortunate Ones uniform coat.
In mech: Cooling vest, cargo shorts, pistols and small backpack of food, ammo and plastiflesh.

I have played DnD and L5R premade characters so it wasn't that hard.

Reinhart made most of the design of the character in terms of mechanics. We discussed that it would be better if the character was more a melee than a firearms. I didn't give him much story just that I wanted to play a civilian. Perhaps his look at my gameplay of other FA games helped him think of a concept.

It was fun. I had some nostalgia feeling. Remembered some of the mechs I played in my youth.
