Re: Grave Robbing (D2, EE, Armor Graveyard)

In a bizarre twist of luck, she did find something unexpected, one of the vehicles was mostly intact, just... mostly buried.

Not much was visible except what appeared to be an excavated top hatch where the crew had been dug out in the distant past.

"Found something here. Maybe we need to get the mechas to unbury that. Looks like a vehicle on a pretty good state." She said, stepping twice on some junk right nearby, lantern focused on the ceiling of the thing.

"Huh, you did find something good." Thomas replied as he made his way over. "It will be work to get it out though." He agreed as he looked down at the hole she found.

"Still, great job."

Re: Grave Robbing (D2, EE, Armor Graveyard)

The Engineering vehicle, necessary for any salavage operation, rumbled up the road behind them, ready for use carrying anything salvaged back to camp.

Not like those hovercraft could carry multiple tons of excess armor, after all.

"Well." Thomas popped out his flash light as well as his Revolver. "I suppose I can have a look inside to be sure."

Re: Grave Robbing (D2, EE, Armor Graveyard)

The interior of the vehicle is in reasonable shape, once the hatch is opened back up. The seats had all dry-rotted out, so someone would need to swap those out, but the hull was still sealed, so most of the internal electronics and metal were in workable condition. The a ammo bins had been emptied out by someone, ages ago, and it was doubtful the armor was in great condition... but the fundamentals all seemed to be there.

Re: Grave Robbing (D2, EE, Armor Graveyard)

"Well, most of the interior looks intact." Thomas offered as he looked around inside. "If we can salvage enough armor and odds and ends off the other vehicles could be we could put together a working tank."

"Brrrr, a tank we got." She replies with a smile. "So, Dr. Reinhardt, when can we take this out?"
