[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun smiles at her excitement about the mechs, and he looks guilty about bringing her down with the name business.

"Oh, please not Mr. Bruun. No mister, no lord--er, uh, just Bruun, really. Best for everyone. Just Bruun." It's obvious there is a lot behind his strong preference.

"And you're, uh, just Felicity, huh? That's pretty," he says as he scrambles away from the topic of his own name.

[Felicity]

She gives a quick thumbs up to his preferences. "Bruun. Got it."

At his query she nods a couple times. "Just Felicity, yea, or Fee. I don't mind. Eehm, thanks."

[Dorgan Bruun]

"Huh. Fee. Felicity. I reckon I like both," he says with a less anxious smile. "So, Fee, what mech outfits were you with? Your history'll take a lot less time than mine," he kids.

[Felicity]

"Este, it's pretty short. I served four years with the Marik Militia. The Fourth. Then I joined the Crimson Lancers. They were a small mercenary company, a little like ourselves. Unfortunately, they folded as a unit just before this expedition. None of their Command could agree on anything. Lots of personal conflicts and ego. Constant infighting. I'm glad I was only with them for five months." She winces and shakes her head. "Told you it was pretty short, si? So, how about you? Should I call you old timer?" She flashes her teeth cheekily. "Cause you make yourself out to be like that."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun looks half grumpy but half smiles at Fee's approach.

"Being a mechwarrior ain't great for your life expectancy, so given that I reckon I'm pretty old. Long as you don't call me that, though, I won't call you kid. Deal?"

"I could tell you a lot of stories, about ego especially being a thing that gets good pilots killed. Creed's 'stick together, stay alive' attitude is pretty uncommon in my experience." He scratches his beard. "I reckon I came in figuring the only one looking out for my health is me, but it seems like that ain't the way in the Fortunate Ones."

"And I'll say, I'm glad you got away from the Lancers. I think you're much better off here." Bruun smiles kindly, like a protective father.

[Felicity]

With a chuckle she accepts his offer. "Yea, okay." Besides, if she was a kid then what were the younger mechwarriors?

She taps the table with her knuckles in agreement about the Lancers. "Seems that way so far. Now I just need things clearing up with you-know-who."

Felicity has another little stretch now. Her meal's over and she is hydrated once more. "I'm going to head to the hangar. I've got another group to escort soon. Stay safe Bruun."

[Dorgan Bruun]

"You too, Fee," he nods respectfully as she gets up to leave.

Bruun is his usual model of subtlety in watching her walk away.

[Felicity]

"Catch you later."

Picking up her tray, Felicity saunters away. Her tails sways left and right behind her.
