[James Hall]

James thinks. "Probably the poisonous ones. They are aggressive, and their poisonous claws inflict a lot of pain. Never seen one though. Just heard some warriors describe them. Though they way I've heard them described, they sound adorable. Well, until they attack." James goes on to describe something that looks like a koala with a beak and long claws.

[Alexei Herald]

"Well... I'll take your word for it. Sounds like a fine beast, if you think you can draw it."

Alexei chuckled. "All this time, and I never did learn how to draw."

[James Hall]

James nods. "Not my best skill, but I should be able to get it close."

"Can you do it in the sky? I heard some people can write in the sky." Mata asks.

[Alexei Herald]

"I've never tried that. I suppose it would just be a matter of planning in advance... and having a plane with the right equipment."

He glanced at Mata. "Have you been keeping up with your practice, young miss Mata?"

[James Hall]

Mata nods. "I've been getting good. I only have problems about 1 out 10 times. Daddy says I should aim for doing 100 in a row perfectly."

[Alexei Herald]

"You should... but that's a very good start."

With a smile, he added, "I'll teach you how to turn next so you can turn back toward the dropship."

[James Hall]

"That would be great. Turning is much hard than it looks." Mata rubs an old bruise out of memory.

[Alexei Herald]

"Yes... it is."

With a chuckle, Alexei stood.

"I'm going to have to get going, but I appreciate your efforts very much, Mr. Hall. Having the old bird ready to fly will be a boon in the coming battles."

[James Hall]

"It is nothing captain. You're teaching Mata and allow me to work on aerospace fighters. You have my thanks."

Mata gives him a salute. "Have a good flight!"

[Alexei Herald]

Alexei gave a lazy, casual wave as he strode away, which was almost sassy in how limp wristed it was.

It seemed he was in a good mood.
