[D15, EA, briefing room, expecting] What could we do?

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun snorts. "Bring a friend so I'm not drinking alone and it's fine. Just," he's quick to correct, "not Snorri. The talky third wheel ain't something I want to be."

Taking a big breath to reset himself, Bruun agrees. "Yes. Shiny new... old... Mechs that are new to us." He musters up a small smile.

[Felicity]

"He isn't the only one that wants a piece of this tail, but okay. Now, come have a look." She returns to the holotank while making a come hither gesture. She would sit him down in front of it.

"This isn't all of them, but what do you think? And if you can't smile properly at these then you best go get some more coffee and be on your way Bruun. This is once in a lifetime and you're going to spoil it." She would smile a little and then thump his shoulder gently. "Or are you a masochist? I know how to work with that, but not while we are meant to be on duty, si?"

"How many--" Bruun looks questioning as he complies, letting out a soft "Hey" as she thumped his shoulder.

"Ok, ok, I'll get excited. But one thing first," he says, raising one hand a bit like he was asking permission. "How many... I mean, I'm sure everyone kinda wants... But did you mean, like, like you've got a list or something?" For a fairly worldly man, he seems surprisingly puzzled.

[Felicity]

"Bruun, querido, are you really that curious?" She chuckled and shook her head. "There's no list. I don't know how interested others are, only that that they're more than looking. I've gotten used to telling apart someone looking at my tail or ears because they're not used to them and someone actually looking at my body, si? Men especially have a certain wandering eye that most women learn to pick up on." She rolled her shoulders before bending forward to show off that she could touch her toes. She looked up at his face as she snapped her body back up. "Yea, that's the one." She bounced on the spot once to emphasise the point. It created a certain hypnotic allure centered around her chest. "Definitely."

Once more Fee gave him another gentle thump to his shoulder. "So, mechs? Or do you need a comfort break?" She sticks out her tongue at him, acting full on impish by this point.

Bruun clears his throat and leans back in his chair, having been caught up in Fee's lesson.

"Ah... Reckon it's pretty hard to say no to a comfort break with you," he says nervously, clearly feeling conflict. He closes his eyes and takes a heavy breath. "But, uh, I'm going to try." Bruun runs a hand over his face. "I reckon I shouldn't get too comfortable here if I'm trying to, uh, go in other directions, right?"

[Felicity]

"Having some meaningful relationships is important. I'm starting to feel I have those here too." She looked up thoughtfully. "It's a good feeling."

Felicity remembered the holotank. She brought up the Marauder to kick things off.

"Pretty, si?"

"Meaningful relationships," he echoes. "Crazy thing to say about a merc company," he says, smiling at her like a friend.

He turns focus to the holotank.

"It's a good mech, sure enough," he agrees. "I reckon you'll hate me for saying this, but I never liked the look of the PPCs on there. Like those 'hands' should just tip the damn thing forward." He mimes something that looks like a dog paddling in water as he tips forward in his chair. He's smiling as he does, making it tough to tell if he's serious or messing with her.

[Felicity]

"But... you don't hate PPCs, right? Eehm... you probably wouldn't like the Warhammer then. Okay, how about this." Felicity brought up the Archer. "Lots of long range kick, si?"

[Dorgan Bruun]

"No, no PPC hate," he confirms. "They're a great drink," he jokes. "No, no," he quickly clarifies, "it's just... I care a little about looks. I don't like the look of them far out on the Marauder's hands."

As she brings up the Archer, he makes a sound perhaps most like a giant bear purring: a deep, rumbling, but warm and happy sound. "All those LRMs," he says, finally showing the level of excitement that Fee had asked for.

[Felicity]

"Bruun, they're... Really not a good drink." Most mechwarriors actually hated them. They were popularly ascribed to mechwarriors in films and holovid series, but few mechwarriors actually drank them. Bruun was an exception to the norm.

"Okay, so, the Archer is good. That's more like it." She smiled at his response. "Let's see. Next... This rare Wolverine." It had only came up when searching 'Wolverine II'.

"Very mobile. Long and short range weapons. Well armoured, never runs hot. Could use some more firepower. Reliable however. Eehm, what do you think?"
