[Felicity]

"I-I thought you were going to show me that? I mean, I can try. Show you how I usually cook eggs?" Felicity responds a little nervously.

[Colette Rupelle]

She giggled. "Zat is true but I want to know your technique and we go from zere."

[Felicity]

Felicity gives a nod and, looking quite serious, prepares a pan with oil on heat. Soon the egg would be cracked on the side of the pan and cooking. She only had to spoon out one bit of shell. It would be a few minutes.

[Marik Wa Mo Ishtal]

Colette started by drying the meat and sprinkled it with salt, pepper and a bit of garlic and onion powder. "We start by seasoning our steak. Nozing fancy just salt, pepper, garlic and onion." She smiled. "What term would you like your steak Monsieur Marique?"

salt, pepper, garlic, onion, got it.

"Would it be possible to get Medium Well?"

Seeing Felicity had begun cracking an egg, Marik looked to Colette to see if he should as well.

If he should, he would grab an apron and wash his hands before cooking a small slab of butter in a heating pan. As the egg is cooking, he would sprinkle a little mixture of salt and pepper into the albumen of the egg as it cooks.

[Colette Rupelle]

Colette smiled. Looking at Felicity fishing egg shells, she giggled. "I see... If you don't want shell on your egg, try to not crack it with too much force. Try to keep a straight line around ze egg shell." She flipped the steak. "The term of ze meat can be measured by the tenderness of ze touch...right now we are at..." she poked it with the spatula. "Rare to medium rare."

[Felicity]

"Eehm, should I add some salt and pepper while it cooks?" She asks, having been observing Marik. Of course her own hands had been washed earlier, but she hadn't put on an apron or otherwise changed.

"R-right. Not too much force."

Felicity used a spatula to flick some oil on top of the egg with one hand. The other held the pan.

[Colette Rupelle]

"Seasoning is up to since it a sunny side up egg... ze yolk will stay runny. To cook ze whites evenly poke around ze yolk without poking ze yolk itself."

[Felicity]

"Okay, so, just a little salt then..." Felicity took a pinch and sprinkled it over the nearly done egg. She then tried to poke the yolk around without poking the yolk itself. That was harder than it sounded.

The steak was done to term as Colette took a plate and placed the steak on it. "Now it has to rest." She took an onion out and started to cut it. They would note the quite fancy set of very sharp utensils. "Zis we use for flavor and decorations." She looked at Felicity and smile. "When ze egg is done place it on top of ze steak."

[Felicity]

"Right-!" She hastened to do just that, taking her spatula and scooping the egg up. She held it above the frying pan. "Do I try to drain the oil first?" It was dripping oil slightly.
