Cold turkey (Day 5 Late Morning, Mess)
Posted: Thu Dec 03, 2020 2:56 pmThomas was still dressed for battle as he made his way into the Mess, rifle and maintenance kit hand in hand. He'd skipped and actual breakfast. Having just had a snack before going to battle, no reason to weigh himself down with a heavy meal.
Now he was attending to that with a meal of cereal and whatever fruit they had on hand. Which likely meant something from a can. No reason to just attend to one thing though, so as he ate he worked on his rifle. Two birds with one stone and all that.
