It Wasn't That Cold....(Day 15 LA, Bunks)

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea had taken a quick shower after her melee practice, and was on her way back to her own bunk. Passing by Felicity's room, she stopped and tapped on the door. "Miss Felicity are you in?" Her hands felt much better now...since they weren't in danger of freezing off anymore.

[Felicity]

"Andrea? Yea, come in."

Felicity pushed herself up and rolled her body so she could sit on the side of her bed. She gives Andrea a wave as she entered. "Salut. Comment ça va?" She had on big, baggy socks and her usual large hoodie. Warmth was a good thing.

Andrea had also put on some warmer clothes, a pullover wool sweater and pants. Though her hair was still a little damp.

« Ah...ça va. Mes mains sont meilleures. » She holds up her hands and flexes her fingers, « Et toi, mademoiselle ? »

She steps into the room and leans against the wall, "Seems the Fortunate Ones are living up to their name, no?"

[Felicity]

Hands? She understood a little. "Je vais bien." Felicity was happy to see Andrea looking so well after their freezing morning.

"We really are! It's exciting, isn't it?" She enthuses. "Grab the door and come here. I've downloaded their specs on my noteputer. I was just looking them over." She taps the bed a couple of times with a big smile. "I'm glad you're feeling better. I was lucky James had a spare suit."

Andrea nodded and straightened up, pushing the door a little.

"You found specs on Royal variants? How far into historical files did you dig for that?"

She looks around for a seat before just taking one on the bed next to Fee.

[Felicity]

The little push was enough for the door to begin closing. Momentum did the rest, the door clicking shut.

"It took me a while! Luckily we had James there and he knew some bits. Theodore also has an existing interest."

Fee continued to smile as Andrea sits down with her. "You're curious, si? Here." She flops backwards, tucking and spinning her body before twisting her body to bounce up off the bed and back down onto her front right up against the wall. It freed enough space for Andrea to lay down too. She shuffles forward to adjust her noteputer screen. It had a readout of the Warhammer on display.

"This Warhammer model is a terror. I'd hate to face one. Well armoured and effective at all ranges. The only weakness is that it's relatively snow and lacking mobility. Still, it has so many weapons and those double heat sinks let it actually fire them all. Isn't that mad?" She was only slightly exaggerating.

Her tail swayed stood up behind her, slightly curling forward. She was in a good mood.

Andrea leaned forward, but for the moment was hesitant to lay down fully. "I see...." Her eyes widened. "...that's some hefty specs."

She glances to Fee, "Our little company has gotten a lot more dangerous no?" She smiled and rubbed her head. Eyes quickly shifted back to the computer. "Ah....pity about the Battlemaster, but perhaps we can salvage the fallen one from the Dragon's and this one to make a functional one." Andrea smirks, "I wonder if I shall ever have chance to pilot one."

The tail caught her attention, without thinking she grabbed it to stop the swaying. Then immediately released it with a slight blush. "...sorry my hand was moving before my thoughts caught up."

[Felicity]

"Real hefty." Felicity had agreed. The thing was a walking battery of guns, able to handle any enemy at any range. It even had machine guns for infantry neutralisation.

Felicity turns and nods. "A lot more, yea." She looked back to the noteputer as Andrea mentioned the Battlemaster. "Pues... that should be possible if the techs aren't busy with anything else."

When her tail was grabbed Felicity quickly looked to Andrea to see why. She'd definitely felt it. The end flicked about for a few moments, as if protesting being suddenly constricted. Felicity grins at first as Andrea quickly released her tail.

"Don't apologise. I have a tail and I trust you Andrea. You can pet it if you want. I quite like some skinship." She purred merrily as she moved her tail over to rest beside Andrea. Enticing her. "Meow?" Felicity meowed before adding an incredibly convincing trilling noise. She pawed one hand in the air toward Andrea, miming a cat, shifting slightly to her side to better watch what she did.

Andrea blinked, "No, no it was nothing like that...just the movement." She held up her ends embarrassed. "Maybe just the mechs for the moment no?" Her tone wasn't very convincing.

"Any of them catch your fancy? Some of them are closer then the Valkyrie to your old style of fighting." She smiled meekly.

The mechwarrior rubbed her head.

[Felicity]

Just the movement? Really? Felicity flicked her tail about a little to test that. She then pushed herself up, turning about so she could crawl slowly toward Andrea. "The Griffin is closest to what I'm used to. It's like a Phoenix with all the bells and whistles. It even has something called ECM. Hey..." She stopped by Andrea where she shifted to kneeling on her bed. "What're you embarrassed about? You have my permission. Come on." Felicity urges, smiling curiously as she reached out for Andrea's waist to tug her down onto the bed.

"Don't be so distant." Felicity comments in between giggles as she stays latched to the noblewoman until she settled down.
