Booting up one of the pods, Felicity stretched and hydrated herself outside. She was going to try out some of the mechs they'd found. Simulated try outs at least.

If anyone else wished to do the same, there were numerous pods available. Some might just like to watch.

Theo peeked his head into the simulator room. "You starting those up or just wrapping?" He took a step into the room.

"Just starting." She calls back, flashing him a big smile. "Evening Theodore. How has your day been? Still excited about our find?"

"The base seems pretty impressive. I'm excited the heat got restored," he laughs, "Dang near lost feeling in my hands and feet out there this morning."

"So what sim are you running?"

"Ha! You're playing it cool. Not going to say anything about the mechs we found? Some are SLDF Royals!"

She ushers him over to show him what she had clumsily programmed into the simulator. "I'm glad about the heating too. It was freezing in there. Here, look. I thought I'd do some basic simulations for each of the mechs we found. Try to get a feel for them. It took me a while to get their specs. Thanks again for the help earlier."

"Right, so what are you going to fight against? I think we have a decent Scorpion's Nest programme...." he winked at her, "Some of them could probably make it through three or four of the buggers solo."

"Quite possibly. That Warhammer could handle a few Scorpion nests for sure. I think it could take on a tank company in the right circumstances."

Her scenario was much more basic. One piloted mech against a pair of standard designs in mixed terrain. A Catapult and a Hunchback paired together. It would mean any of the new mechs was out tonned, and the enemy pair would be effective at all ranges.

"Maybe I should try that Scorpion nest programme next?"

"Scorpion's Nest is always a good way to gauge how much of a King of the Battlefield something is," he said looking over the details, "I mean a warlord can buy 5 of them for the price of a basic Locust so it isn't even an unreasonable scenario to train for."

"True that. Good thing they break easily. Doesn't help that they're usually Quickscell, si?"

"A cheap tank is a cheap tank," he shrugged, "Enough class 5 autocannons add up though. So that your way of saying you want me to set that up or you happy with a hunchy and a cat?"
