Bruun was visiting Blondie later than usual today, starting to feel some angst about Creed's combat assignments. Holding the ceremony in the evening?

"I guess it makes sense, my girl, but what's he taking so long to think about? Ain't that many of us to talk to before he makes it official..."

Theodore moved over to start work on the Locust. If working with James had shown him one thing earlier it was that the two of them would be more productive on this lighter damage working a mech each. Which was good news for the company.

"Hey Bruun. The lady keeping you busy?" he said with a playful smile.

The Locus is badly mangled on the left, but isn't knocked out - meaning it could be piloted now... just... it wouldn't be pretty.

------ Work Order, Locust 1-S -------

Replace Mech Left Torso (No component available) - 240 minutes - TN: Impossible
Replace Mech Left Arm (No component available) - 240 minutes - TN: Impossible

(replacing armor impossible on those locations)

--

Repair Heat Sink (LL) - 120 minutes - TN 20
Repair Mech Left Leg - 90 minutes - TN 20
Repair Center Torso - 90 minutes - TN 20
Replace Armor (LL 25min, RL 10min, RT 5min, CTR 10min, CT 30min, Head 15min) -- TN 10.

The tech made some serious progress on getting the Locust walking again.

Repair Heat Sink (LL) 34 120 minutes
repair left leg - 60 minutes, 30 minutes remaining.

"Wha--oh, hehe," Bruun went from surprised to calm very quickly. "Yeah, this girl and I are still gettin' acquainted. Gonna need to log some patrol time tomorrow, make sure she hasn't gotten too cozy in here." He pats the mech's giant leg, then wanders over to see what Theo is banging on.

"Uh, sorry, bad with names. Was it... Timmy? Teddy?" The scruffy mechwarrior looked clearly apologetic that he didn't remember.

"Theodore but Teddy works if you've spent much time cursing certain kimono wearing fellows that share that name. Happened all the time when I was working in Rassalhague," he gave a lopsided grin. He had a bag full of pipes, fans, and a smaller wielding torch.

"Huh. Well, I reckon maybe Theodore being a well-known name might help me remember, so I'm gonna stick with that." He smiles a little at his problem-solving skills. "What's the diagnosis here, Theodore? How are this and the other clunkers looking?"

"The Hornet is coming together nicely," he gestured at the Locust, "This bucket of bolts can be made operable but unless we get a heap of structural components isn't about to be combat optimized anytime soon. It'll still be able to run at top speed which is most of what you want a Locust on a scouting lance to do anyways. If it was a 1M model I'd recommend a cautious pilot but we have a 1S so SRMs not LRMs."

Bruun nods thoughtfully. "Based on the simulator run, I'd like to see people in the heaviest armor we have. Especially those hits that accelerated heat accumulation..." Bruun shakes his head.

"Well, I'm glad that y'all are at least making what you can of what we've got. Where were you before the Fortunate Ones?"

"I think we're going to need to salvage some stuff to get that much more armour kicking around."

"Balmung, a now defunct merc company but before that the 5th Lyran Guards. You, sir?"
