Where the pilots might go ahead, Marik stayed behind to help the Engineers.
His comrades had suffered while he had been mostly spared - and yet, he had allowed his Temple to be ravaged by poor planning and shoddy execution.
There were others as well, the question would be which to prioritise - he just hoped his work would earn the forgiveness of not just the Just Technicians, but also of himself.

Work began with the easy work - getting the Sting and Commando back in top fighting form.

Working alongside the other Te was also a nice feeling.

It had been a fairly chill day in the hangar. But with both lances sortied Theo was there to wait out their return. His face went pale as he saw the main force shamble back in. "What'd you folks do? Pick a fight with a sandblaster?"
Then a truck full of crippled light mechs hauled in. He looked over at the mechwarrior already replacing armour and shook his head. "Alright, I'll leave the light work to him," he picked up his cutter, "Time to harvest some Locust parts."

"Ah, Just Technician -" He gave a quick bow as he entered, before remembering that such an occurrence wasn't normal in space, "-We were ambushed while escorting twenty tonnes of lumber by several tanks and a lance of mechs. To my knowledge we have no major injuries or deaths, but as you can see we took some serious damage."
He looked again to the Thorn.
"As penance, I was hoping to use some of my skills to assist."

"Well, replacing armour isn't hard and seems to be the main thing to do," he looked at the Valkyrie and shook his head, "Bruun is either the best or worst pilot I have ever seen. Taking that much fire and spreading it out over pretty much all the armour."

"Bruun is a good pilot - there was a reason he was named First Lieutenant. I fear others may have work to do to live up to his level."
He was eyeing the thorn's arms in worry before moving over to the Sting.

"Well, you got to watch him work. Alright, so that was on purpose," he pursed his lips, "That's kind of impressive."
