Calm Before the Storm (Day 16 EE, diner, open)

[Felicity]

She had a sip of the chocolate since it was offered. Then, she had another, bigger sip. She pushes the chocolate milkshake back toward him. There was only the dredges left now.

"The chocolate is better. You win this time Theodore." She chuckles a little before crossing her arms and overdoing a pout. Trying to at least. She can't keep a straight face. Shaking her head, laughing again, she uncrosses her arms and grins. "That was me trying to get you to flag the waiter to order two more chocolate milkshakes, but I couldn't keep it up."

[Theodore Beker]

"Well, alright," He laughed as he held his hand up and stretched above the booth seat, "Two more chocolate milkshakes, please!"

"Better Kitty?" he asked as he reached a hand up to stroke her ear.

[Comstar]

The server stopped by, "Glad they're a hit, but don't fill up too much on them or you won't have room left for the main course."

Setting down breaded cheese sticks, he then glanced between the two, "So two milkshakes, and you pick a main course yet? If not, the bison burger is a favorite, or the perogies."

[Theodore Beker]

"I am sticking with the Jambalaya," he glanced at the catgirl, "Did you decide what you want?" He popped a mozzastick in his mouth and tugged on it stretching out the cheese before nibbling it back into his mouth slower.

[Felicity]

She had nuzzled into his touch until the waiter arrived to confirm orders. She had set hers in her mind.

"Irish stew for me please. Don't worry, I have room."

Felicity copied Theodore, taking one of the mozza sticks and munching away.

"All right, you're missing out though."

He shruggeed. "Always next trip."

Taking the menus he went to fetch the meal.

[Theodore Beker]

"Hungry are you?" he laughed, "I guess dessert is on the offering then?"

[Felicity]

"Maybe, we'll see!"

Felicity snuggled into Theodore's arm. She was in an exceedingly good mood.

"What food is traditional on your homeworld Theodore?"

[Theodore Beker]

"Back on New Earth? I mean it is pretty old so a lot of old Terran elements are normal," he snuggled back, "A fair amount of German traditions because of the Steiner influence but there is plenty of other stuff. I'm more used to finding other systems lack cuisine I am used to back home. Though, I admit, some places along the periphery tend to have some interesting takes on things. What about you?"

[Felicity]

"My planet was founded by American, German and Spanish colonists. We have a lot of traditional fare from those old countries. You and I might even like similar German food. Eehm, I do miss good seafood however. I haven't had a good paella once since I left."
