Operation Market Garden (Day 4 LA Bizarre)

[Dorgan Bruun]

Andrea sighs and shakes her head, "I see. I see. I hope you fight with as much enthusiasm and vigor as you had haggling for alcohol."

Bruun doesn't take her pessimism well.

"Looky here, Andrea. I had plenty of enthusiasm and vigor when I was tearing a Hetzer apart by hand," he said indignantly. "You wanna test my vigor anytime, you just let me know," he says scornfully, not even intending the double meaning.

[Thomas Moreno]

"You might not want to tell a lady that with a straight face, Brunn." Thomas offered with a smirk.

"As for me, I'm mostly browsing. May pick up some ammunition but I still have a few hundred rounds in my stash, so its likely not needed. Could pick up another pistol as well, if I find a nice one though."

[Karlotta Roth]

She was ready to reply something acid, but at the comment of Thomas she broke in a laugh that took time to recover. "You had plenty of vigor as well when you were in the middle of a crossfire standing up and shooting like a mecha mating call. Chill and hear the lady a little bit." Her tone was casual, more scornful than serious.

[Thomas Moreno]

"As long as you promise to tell me what a mecha mating call sounds like, Karlotta. " Thomas replied with a grin, though he did quiet down and turn his eyes once more to the weapons shop.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea just smirks, "Ah, mon Commandant, such anger at so slight a cut." She practically purrs, « Où est votre sang-froid ? »

She rubs her head and looks to the other two, "Oh? This would be the First Sergeant's gunfight no?"

"Hmm, another weapon would not be bad either...I just have my revolver and technically a sword."

[Thomas Moreno]

"Honestly we chat about enough gun fights I'm not quite sure." Thomas offered with a shrug though Andrea's tone with Brunner did earn her a smirk.

"That sounds like you can't even use the sword." He added with a chuckle. As fir mkre weapons, I'll always suggest something with a bit of range, so you can reach out and touch someone as it were."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea straightened and responded indignantly, "Of course I can use it, I was on the saber fencing team back at NAIS."

She rubbed her head then sighed, "...but as you say its not a very feasibly weapon this day and age. But at least it doesn't run out of ammo."

[Karlotta Roth]

She laughed. "Strange requests, Moreno. Not the first time I heard of someone who is attracted by such things, though.
And 'twas just the first day thing we got shot. It's all fine. Kinda the same with my equipment, lady DeTroyes. Though I'm still to shoot yet once since I arrived, and my sword is at the tip of my rifle."

[Thomas Moreno]

"Oh? I need someone to practice the up close stuff with, maybe you'll join me sometime?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "Though I use a bayonet or a baton and not so much a sword. Not running out of ammo gas its uses, and guns can do a lot to damage your surroundings."

He turned the to Karlotta. "Im not sure I'd call it attracted." Thomas replied with a wink. "Unless it sounds a lot less like metal squealing and a lot more like something seductive."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun's keen tactical mind, understanding he's surrounded and unsupported, calls for an unceremonious retreat into silence. But he continues to look a little bit cocky -- wasn't anyone else finding the good booze -- and isn't so cowed that he doesn't glare at Thomas behind his back as he easily banters with Andrea and Karlotta.
