Human Edge - Description/Locations

The 'city' of Human Edge is the de-facto Capitol city of Illium. The town is protected by the Sheriff and his posse, governed by a motley council of business owners, and kept running mostly by luck and ancient machinery that simply works... mostly.
While the town lacks any impressive high-rise or bustling metropolis, it does hold a rarity on this world - restaurants and stores. There are a handful of restaurants and saloons which operate in the town limits, and a handful of stores are able to make a living by trade. It isn't much, but it's more than most of Illium can boast these days.

Where the Sidewalk Ended
This smarmily titled bar does, in fact, sit at the end of the main street, a squat building that must have once been a bomb shelter, it had since been opened up with windows and skylights, though the structure was still hilariously overbuilt for a simple bar. With a pair of archaic swinging wooden doors just inside the automatic sliding ones, it was clearly aiming for a retro cowboy aesthetic which had gone out of fashion some four centuries ago.
Cameron Diner
This diner claims to trace it's operation back to the days of the civil war - and proudly asserts that General Kerensky himself ate here once. Or... ate on the rubble where the shop was eventually built. He definitely was near the area, at least. A retro-chrome diner, the fare is largely made up of various forms of sausage and potato dish, with heavy inspiration from old Terran Eastern-European cooking. The Pierogi recipe is, supposedly, a millennia old. It is, at least, pretty damn good.
The Freesquare Bizarre.
The small building was once a mall, and now it holds the markets of Human Edge, many small shops packed into the crowded and sprawling space. Inside one can find many ancient gadgets, collections of rubbish, groceries, clothes, guns, mech parts, and more.
