Ghost Signal Lead - Haunted Tower

To the north of Human Edge, the old Starport sits, overgrown and forgotten. Ever since numerous individuals exploring the place went missing, the locals have given the place up as haunted. Whatever is going on here, a signal ping went out from the control tower of this port when the Calico first began approaching the planet, so something, or someone, is still active inside.

This location is now available in the Human Edge Forum - making a thread here is potentially dangerous - any thread here should be brought to Comstar's attention before it proceeds.

The starport is massive, though much of it has collapsed to rubble, a few buildings are still in decent enough condition that they don't seem likely to fall over at any moment.

Control Tower
The aforementioned control tower, this structure rises in the center of the port roughly 140meters vertically, allowing it to rise above many light dropships. With access from the terminal long collapsed, the only remaining entrances are on the ground, large security doors which appear to have been closed for generations.

Hangars
The massive hangars which could hold massive aerospace craft and shuttles are still standing, and though a little worn and battered, seem to have remained largely unbroken since old days, though some signs of battle damage can be seen across their large concave surfaces.

The hangar doors are sealed, however, and do not seem to have any clear way to open them without risking structural collapse, and with it, the destruction of whatever might remain inside.

As the Montenegro blew, the blast ravaged the timeworn tower, blowing out the observation deck and cutting internal power, a large chunk of the dropship hull tearing through the structure and sending it slowly tumbling down.

The signal lead here had been, by and large, a red-herring, but whatever remained was now lost.
