James keeps his promise to take Mata shopping.

Thom had heard that the town was safe... Well, safe enough That didn't mean that he went into town unarmed though. Or that he expected his money to be good.

Looking around the area he tried to see what was for sale. Or if there were any of the the other crew there.

What was for sale... All sorts of things.

Nothing new or trendy, but all sorts of old things - relics practically - and local creations.

James looked to see if any could find anything of interest that the locals might not know the value. But he was a bit distract by Mata who was looking for toys (or something neat).

James ran into the solder and saluted him. "Warrior. I am Technician James Hall and this is my daughter Mata."

Mata saluted as well.

"Oh, nice to meet you Hall, and Mata." Thom replied with a smile as he came across the pair from the ship. "Name's Thomas Cesar Moreno, you can call me pretty much any part of that and ill answer."

He glanced around the bizarre for a few moments. "You figure out what they use for money around here?"

"Well, from my understanding C-Bills are an universal language. And if not, well, we'll have to figure something out."

Mata holds up a fistful of C-Bills. "I have my own money." She then puts it back in her pocket carefully making sure no thieves are around."

"Sure in normal place." Thom replied with a glance around. "This isn't exactly your home town shopping mall though."

"Still, might as well figure it out right? Your daughter looks like she has a hole burning in her pocket after all."

Tiny Colette walked about looking for odd materials that weren't actually food. She was looking for small actuators, springs and metal scraps.

"No holes. I made sure to check before daddy gave me the money." She nods approvingly at herself. Seeing Colette, she gives the soldier a salute and goes over to her. James keeps an eye on the two. Technically, he was supposed to be a guard for any of the Echo people.

"Mata did not have a typical childhood of an Inner Sphere child. This is her first time shopping. What brings you here? Anything specific?"

Mata approaches Collette. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"Eh!?" She looked at Mata who probably is just a tad shorter than Colette. "I am looking for parts to make a somezing to help me make videos wiz out holding ze camera." Colette giggled. "What about you petite mademoiselle?"
