Human Edge

Dr. Reinhardt seems to be spending his entire day in the APC as sun begins to set he rides shotgun headed back to the starport with small demolition charges and cutting torches with spare batteries, he even brought some climbing gear, in case they decide to take the elevator shaft up if needed.

Thom was along for the ride, relaxing in his seat. The doctor wasn't in sight but that didn't particularly matter much.

They were in the APC after all.

Karlotta was back at being usual Karlotta after some adrenaline shots from what happened earlier. Good posture, right handling of the rifle, looking outside like a hound. The mud on her clothes had now gone out, and she was dressing, like earlier, military clothing — but the top side was inside out.

Riding in the back, near the back hatch, sat three soldiers of the Yokai Matsuri. They'd been introduced as Kamaitachi, Grendel, and Dullahan, respectively. Each wore a mixture of different light armor, carrying a mixture of weapons, including a shotgun, a laser rifle, and an anti-material rifle.


Kamaitachi seemed cheerful, if a little bit... off. She wore two massive knives on her vest, and kept patting them, as if checking to be sure they were still there.


Grendel clutched a rather large rifle to himself, wrapped in his camouflage coat. He has yet to say a word.


Dullahan seems the most professional of the batch, equipped with a fairly standard infantry assault rifle, a dappled gray and blue uniform, and a no-nonsense expression.

"Hope we actually do something this time. Though I guess I don't mind taking a nice little ride, even if it's nasty out."

"Shut up Kamaitachi."

Jan had been sleeping the travelling times through, or maybe just keeping eyes closed and wandering in the depths of his mind.

Felicity had a vested interest in the Starport. However, she'd also had a long day and she considered the area quite safe by this point. This would be her last trip out today. After that her baby needed some maintenance.

Yawning in her cockpit, she followed along behind the APC.
