Human Edge

Colette wanted to look for fireworks and try to find Mr Bates. It has been a few days since she had seen him and probably will worry if she doesn't find him on this day. She walked the streets of the market waving at the people she knew. She looked first for the fireworks and later for Mr Bates.

Fireworks were a bit of a challenge, there didn't seem to be any store for them - though Discount Dillan did suggest that he could sell her 'somewhat faulty missiles' to use for that purpose.

"If zat is all you have Monsieur Dillan... I may try to work somezing out." The girl sighed. "Have you seen Monsieur Bates?" The girl wondered.

"He's been out and about. I guess."

Dillan shrugged and then added, "Just come by when you decide if you want those missiles."

Thomas trailed behind Collette hands in his pockets as he gazed around town. Apparently she was getting around to that party? He had thought she'd forgotten.

She looked back at Thomas. "What do you zink Señor Moreno? Would that work for pretty fireworks?" He was the one who will be in charge of those.

"I mean, somewhat faulty missles sounds like they might explode when you try and set them off." Which might just do more harm then good.

"Misses don't really explode in the air either. Course im.not really an expert."

"Yeah... I sometimes wish I was true chemist and make wonderful recipes for things like that." She shrugged. "Zanks Monsieur Dillan but I zink we are going to pass on ze missiles."

"That would be nice." Thomas agreed with a nod. He was rather certain those misses would be pricey too faulty or not.

"Know of any of the rest of your company has those skills? Maybe we could put some sort of fountains together if nothing else."

"Monsieur Jan probably but he is a very recluse man. Dr Ren is a antropogeologist he may know a bit of chemistry but I zink he is busy wiz ze finds." She sighed. "I don't want to ask Madame Lucretzia nor Madame Anastasia." She waved her finger. "Never ask ze bosses somezing so frivolous as fireworks." Colette giggled at herself. "Hmmm" The girl grew pensive. "Flares maybe?"
