The BBQ commences (D19 EE open)

[James Hall]

James and Mata arrived. James didn't feel it was appropriate to come, but Mata wanted to, so he would put away his own hangups.

Seeing Andrea, Mata approached, "Wow. That's a pretty dress." James felt like the proper thing was to say something. It seemed very formal. "Yes. I agree." James also wondered if he should have worn something more formal. A fresh jumpsuit?

[Felicity]

The technician and his daughter would spot the plates on the table along with the cooked vegetables and salad. There was meat, but it was mostly covered up and waiting to be cooked. A few pieces were being cooked however. Aside from food there were cups for drink, with a selection of soda, water, a single bottle of orange juice and a great many bottles of beer!

Felicity was at the table laying out the dessert with Colette.

[Theodore Beker]

Theodore arrived in casual, yet remarkably un-oil stained, clothes. He looked about, "Oh, god. Was there a dress code?"

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun, head wound or no, was transfixed by Andrea in a dress. The curt nod barely registered, and it was probably best for Bruun's health that he recovered coherency when he did.

"Andrea. Uh, nice. You look well." He blinks and clears his throat. "And I was just about to make Fee a White Russian. Care for one?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Just a bourbon for myself tonight Leftenant." Andrea smirks and looks to the tech and his daughter. Her smile turned more friendly, "Thank you Technician. I been meaning to thank both you and Theo for your hard work. You two and your crew worked some miracles."

"Sweets already? Before the meal. My dear Fee you will ruin your appetite."

[Thomas Moreno]

Thomas relaxed in a chair a bit away from the others. Not exactly avoiding conversation but letting the others chatter between themselves freely.

He had a small plate of food and was munching away, content to eat for the moment.

[Colette Rupelle]

"Zank you Lizzy" She giggled. "Just somezing sweet so people can have dessert when ever zey like." She saw Theo and Thomas and waves at the two men. "I hope you enjoy ze desserts."

[Snorri Tycho]

"Dang Andrea. I've heard of letting your hair down, but you're making a good case for the updo." Snorri tries to discreetly sniff his clothes. He had been told that this was a BBQ, not a nice gathering. It did not help that Andrea looked....good. Really good. The formal clothes were a rather nice touch after mostly seeing her in the standard clothes wandering the halls.

Snorri looks over to Felicity and mouths "Noice. Way to go there"

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun pauses again when she answers him and takes another moment to shake it off. "Right. Glad I packed the good stuff. Only some of it stolen from Snorri's stash," he jokes quietly.

Falling into his bartending role, Bruun manages to set up a passable workspace for 1.5ish armed bartender, and slowly but steadily gets drinks ready. Even with growls at most folks to get their own damn drinks, he finds himself busier and more tired than expected. Pausing, seated, he breaks out water for himself.

"Sweets already? Before the meal. My dear Fee you will ruin your appetite."

"Just doing my job so you can keep do yours." He did appearicate just being called technician though. Some proper decorum.
