The BBQ commences (D19 EE open)

[Theodore Beker]

"Zank you Lizzy" She giggled. "Just somezing sweet so people can have dessert when ever zey like." She saw Theo and Thomas and waves at the two men. "I hope you enjoy ze desserts."

Theo laughed, "Dessert already? I was sort of hoping for a hunk of meat first. That said; What have you got?"

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun's eyes narrow at Theo's innocent comment as he recalls some things he's heard around. He keeps an eye on the tech talking to Colette but hangs by his impromptu bar for now.

[Colette Rupelle]

"Lizzy is serving burgers, sausage and ribs. You did asked me for a Prinzregententorte. Zere you have it... well my interpretation. I took the liberty to put apricot jam between ze layers, chocolat ganache as ze topping." She motioned to the layered cake. "And made cupcakes wiz some of ze ganache zat was left over." She giggled.

"Oh, really?" he said sounding impressed as he looked it over, "Right. Sausage first then Prinzregententorte!" He grinned as he headed off to get in line for food.

[Felicity]

Huffing ever so slightly, Felicity frowned as she sorted out the table. When everything was laid out properly she grabbed two plates; one clean and one full of meat. "Someone puts dessert on a table and nobody thinks it might be for after. They all think it somehow means all the meat on show isn't going to be cooked." She was now smirking somewhat after her grumbling. "No way is anything ruining my appetite." She turned to give Andrea a keen look with a little eyebrow waggling. Only then did she move over to the barbecue to resume cooking. The new meat was laid on to cook, some of the existing meat was turned and the rest that had cooked was loaded on to the clean plate. She brought that back to the table.

"Burgers and steak are up. Buns are here along with ketchup and bbq sauce. Help yourselves to the garnish." Felicity called out. She then looked around. "Any requests for the next batch?"

By now her drink request had been forgotten as she'd been busy. It was still beside Bruun.

As Theo moved innocently along, Bruun took another small drink of water and noticed he still had a White Russian beside him. He shakes his head, seeing Fee managing a heck of an operation. Poor busy kitty.

With a small sigh he picks himself up and escorts the drink to BBQ master Fee. Well, near her anyway, so he could catch her attention and make sure the drink found a safe place to await her attention. At an opportune moment he called, "Hey, boss lady, you still looking for this?"

[Felicity]

Felicity was preparing some food for the technicians and Mata, but once it was on she had a moment's respite. As busy as she was, Felicity looked remarkably happy and bouncy. She turned quickly to look at Bruun. "Eehm? Ah! Si!" She impatiently gestures him, and the drink, closer. "You took your time. Are you sure you arm isn't playing you up? Need a fresh painkiller?" She was fussing over him again.

[Dorgan Bruun]

The injured veteran makes a face at Fee.

"Reckon you need to decide whether you're worried about me or want me making drinks faster," Bruun chuckles, shaking his head. "Looky here. I always got time and energy for helping out. I ain't putting myself closer to the grave making a few drinks. Once I have some of these good eats, I'll have plenty of energy. If you want me to spend much time sitting, reckon you might have to hold me down." Bruun smiles, appreciative of the concern and only slightly annoyed at its repetition.

[Felicity]

"You shouldn't rush. I just... I mean... eehm, sorry." She smiled softly, her tone turning apologetic. "Are you sure? Pues, what would you like? I'll pour some TLC into your cut of choice. Sirloin? T-bone? Rump?" Colette had prepared a wonderful selection. The craziest thing was that all the meat on the table wasn't even a fraction of what they'd retrieved. It was a good thing they'd only hunted one!

Bruun smiles at Fee as she's speaking, making clear he isn't mad. And, Bruun being Bruun, can't help but give her a certain look when she says rump. He at least has the decency to start chuckling pretty soon after the look.

"I'm sorry Fee. Reckon certain things just... get my attention," he admits. His smile is pretty brilliant.
