Poor readings (Day 1, LA, Alchor Highlands)

[Lucretzia Winters]

Lucretzia winced as the door slammed, and then glanced back at Snorri and Felicity.

"My apologies... she isn't... she's very frank."

Lifting her glasses, she rubbed her eyes, and then settled them back on the bridge of her nose.

"We're looking for one of our new staff who went missing after the crash."

[Felicity]

"Pues... do you have a picture? And his name?" They'd probably seen him at least once or twice on the ship, likely in the mess.

Felicity cleared her throat and ventured a few more words. "I think the near miss and the maneuvers have everyone rattled. I was in a pretty crap mood myself."

[Snorri Tycho]

"I'll turn up the engines extra loud and stomp for you then." Snorri calls back, unfazed by the younger Winter's temper. As she shuts the door he chuckles and whistles, shaking his head.

"It's no bother. I have taken far worse. It does make me wonder through...this is awfully fast to be losing people"

[Lucretzia Winters]

"Dr. Hatsuo."

Lucretzia reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out her pad, a few pokes at the screen later, and a fuzzy, low resolution photo was shown.



They'd seen him around, he'd always been nice enough, if a bit forgettable.

"Young, yes, but smart, and credentialed, as my dear sister mentioned."

[Felicity]

"Thank you Miss Winters."

Making some thoughtful noises and studying the picture, Felicity tried to remember their interactions. They'd only been greetings really.

"Hey Snorri, take a picture of his picture for reference. We can show it around to the locals. He can't have gotten far. He's probably freaked out from the near death experience, si?"

[Lucretzia Winters]

"Possibly?"

Lucretzia seemed uncertain.

"It's hard to imagine how he could have gotten out and fled... but it also is hard to know why he would be missing with no trace."

Shaking her head, she put away the pad after Snorri got his own good look, and added, "He was an expert in sensor operations, he'd been working on the Calico array, I believe..."

Falling silent, she looked pensive.

[Snorri Tycho]

Snorri snaps a shot of the picture and nods. "Let's hit up town later. People will want to go. After months stuck on a ship, I think some people will want to blow their paycheck"

[Felicity]

"Probably. Are you one of them?" She looked at him with a hint of teasing in her eyes.

"Maybe we could try tomorrow morning. Give locals a chance to see him. The sheriff might be good to ask too."

[Snorri Tycho]

"Hey, I am happy to buy a girl a drink." Snorri grins at her

[Felicity]

"Girl's usually accept." She glanced to Lucretzia and smiled brightly. "Would you allow Snorri here to buy you a drink Miss Winters?"
