Poor readings (Day 1, LA, Alchor Highlands)

[Lucretzia Winters]

Lucretzia glanced at the pair, arching her eyebrow.

"I doubt they have Tharkad 3019 Merlot, but I appreciate the offer."

Dusting herself off, she added, "I suppose I should return to the perimeter and allow you to resume... whatever it is you were doing."

[Felicity]

"Not without regular off world trade, si? Come on now Miss Winters. Maybe they'd have something else you would like." Felicity wasn't about to give up quite so easily. Besides, who only enjoyed one specific wine and no other alcohol?

[Lucretzia Winters]

"They... might."

She sounded immensely skeptical.

"In that unlikely scenario, Mr... I didn't catch your name. Snorn, was it? In that unlikely scenario, you may buy me a drink."

She flicked her wrists, straightening her sleeves, and then removed her glasses, placing them in a case extracted from one pocket, and then tucking it back away.

Snorri coughs, trying to hide his surprise as Felicity acts like an entirely different type of wingman.

"Well Director Winters, I would suppose that you would need an escort to travel into town. It would certainly be an honor to join you in the hunt for a, what was it? Something Merlot?"

Wine wasn't his thing. Aged whisky, that was something he could find interesting takes on regardless of the planet.

[Felicity]

"He's Snorri Tycho. Just call him Snorri. He's big, but harmless." Felicity moved to discreetly give him a wink.

"May we escort you both back?" By which she meant the sisters.

[Lucretzia Winters]

Lucretzia shrugged, and glanced at Snorri.

"You want to carry that thing back, or catch a ride?"

Pulling open the door on the driver's side of the hovercraft, she triggered the ignition, starting up the engine with a low rumble.

"I know Mechwarrior Felicity will need to return to her iron giant."

[Snorri Tycho]

"Well, if you're offering, and you have a ride already, I certainly won't turn the lady down." Snorri offers a salute to the client, looking back at Felicity. He nods in response to the wink, sending a look as she heads back to her mech.

"So, about that drink..."

[Felicity]

Turning her back, she lifts her right hand to wave as she slogs back toward her waiting iron giant.

Anastasia sat as far as physically possible from him, but Lucretzia simply activated the hovercraft, and said, calmly. "I like a dry red, no sweetness or fruity notes."

Then she shifted the engine into gear, lifting the hovercraft just an inch or two up off the ground, and then it burst into motion, a sudden and sharp acceleration which pushed him back into the seat as the craft swept back toward the camp.
