D6 - EM/LM - Snow Blind

As the APC crawled closer, the sensors beeped a warning.

There were elements of explosives in the air.

James took a look at the monitor.

It quickly became clear that the cliff faces above the base were laden with explosives that were still primed to explode.

Any further exploration would be very unwise until those were safely defused... and that was going to require equipment, and a great deal of patience.

It was perhaps infuriating, to have the prize so close before them, and to know that attempting to seize it could well destroy it, and them as well...

Still, they knew now where it was, and what sort of equipment to bring out - defusing the explosives would be time consuming, but hardly impossible.

"I think the exploration ends here for today. There's too many explosives. We'll need to go through and disarm them. That will take some time."

[Karlotta Roth]

"That's not even what worries me the most. Those turrets? That's a handy place to step in and receive death on your hand."

[Dr. Reinhardt]

"Turret power appears to be offline, though honestly that could change once we get closer"

[Aloysius Jones]

"If we can secure it, however, this could be an invaluable facility." Aly said.

[Dr. Reinhardt]

"I am more interested in the secrets inside"

[James Hall]

James shrugs. "I can't imagine what secrets a telecommunications company would have, but it's still worth a look."

James was born to be a technician, not a spy.

"The secrets of Telecommunications of course" he says cryptically

[Aloysius Jones]

"When your business is about transmitting information, there are many secrets involved." Aly nodded.
