Expedition: Frozen in Limbo

The Crystal Basin is a massive glacial valley which extends from the central mountains of Limbo, forming a large bowl into which the accumulated snow and ice of centuries has accrued. The combination of sunlight and frigid temperature has hardened the top layers into a sheet of ice thick enough to support extraordinary weight, and makes it the only suitable landing place for any airborne transport. The climb up from the basin might be arduous, but the path is clear, at least until the explorers enter the mountains themselves.

An expedition cannot be launched unless the Calico is repaired or an alternative transport is arranged.
