Before following the other mechwarrior, Bruun takes one more look around, pistol in hand, just to be safe. It was a fine but not remarkable search.

Yuri was about as busy as he would be all night. Listening to the radio with an intent expression, sitting on a barrel and thumbing the cylinder of the revolver with slow, absent-minded clicks.

Bruun's final glance about only saw more of the same... casings from three different guns.

Bruun stares at the ammo casings for a long time, trying to piece the sequence together. HMG... The runner wasn't shooting... Two others firing then...

Bruun collects a few of each casing for reference. He tries to commit to memory where they were... Then tries taking the best photo he can with his vid phone between the dark and the shifting spotlights. It's probably garbage, but he doesn't want to rely on his memory at this point. Damn crazy day.
