Thomas was in the Driver's seat of the tracked APC as he made his way towards the Elysian mountains. Driving the rotunda would of been nice, but it was suited just for one.

Stretching he glanced back at the others. They were supposed to be after some sort of observatory, hopefully they would find it

The APC trundled along, a bit of a bumpy ride. This region was quite rocky, heavily forested, and generally slow going to navigate safely.

Still, they knew the rough area they needed to search, so if they could find a path to that zone, it would be a good start.

Part of him felt he should have remained close to the sisters, just in case, but Aly had not left the ship since they'd landed. Getting out and seeing the planet was overdue.

"Doesn't look like anyone's been out here in a while."

One of the sisters had decided to go for a ride. Perhaps to get away from the other one.

From the back seat, Lucretzia didn't say anything. She'd opted to wear her trademark black leather coat, but under it chose, not heels and a stern skirt, but cargo pants, tanker boots, and a rather large laser pistol strapped to her hip, along with binoculars.

If nothing else, it was nice to take a ride.

"They probably have been, just not by vehicle." Thomas observed as he glanced towards the other man. "It's likely a fair place to hunt and things like this tend to scar off wildlife."

Striding along the rocky slopes on the APC's right flank was a CDA-3C battlemech. "Anyone know what this observatory's supposed to look like?" Gillian Chow asked over the comms. "Should there be a road or something that leads to it?"

"Can't say I know much about observatories, or their design." Thomas replied. His eyes were mostly open for building, or any anomolies on the sensors.

"Maybe Miss Winters can clue os in a bit on things there?"

"If there are roads, they may be overgrown ang hard to spot." Aly advised. "Look for anything that doesn't look natural."

His eyes scanned their surroundings, looking for an abandoned path or unused trail.

Lucretzia shrugged faintly, and then said, quietly, "It's centuries old - odds are, it's quite overgrown by now - so whatever it is, finding it won't be as simple as following street signs - we know the rough location, so we can set up a search zone once we get a path to that area."

"Sounds logical." Thomas replied as he continued heading in that general direction. "Looks like we have no ideas, Gillian." He offered to the mech pilot.

"When we get close we look for something that seems like it might belong in a horror movie?"
