Megamek Practice

If anyone would like to learn and practice Megamek, or just to have a skirmish, feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to show others how it works or to play. Of course, none of this is required for anybody.
Megamek can be downloaded for free from here: https://megamek.org/downloads.html
The 0.46.1 Client will work just fine, but I personally recommend 0.47.14 as it has lots of nice avatars and some bug fixes.
I'm a learn by doing type, so if you're the same then this might be the quickest way to pick things up. Please note you may need to set up port forwarding to join or host a game (as noted in the FAQ), but often it isn't necessary. I could likely share the basics with others if they play solo too. I don't mind.
If you would rather not hear me go on about it, there are self learning opportunities below!
