Following up locations of interest and leads

As we explore, interact with locals and engage in events we are finding things worth following up. Some are leads for our company goals, and some are simply plain interesting or valuable!
I thought I would catalog findings here and invite discussion. Agreed trips can have their own OOC threads started to go into particulars and to follow the IC thread.
Day 1 findings:
A signal emitter along the coast that is a point of interest. Needs someone science-skilled to figure out the signal, and perhaps some characters willing to investigate inside on foot. Soldiers and medics welcome!
There is a tank graveyard. It looks like a company, approximately twelve armored vehicles, were taken out by artillery. Some may have bits that can be salvaged, from engines to weapons to armor. A good place for a salvage crew to go with escort.
The gate. This leads to Tartarus. The locals seem to be wary of the people who landed and went there, and set up mining facilities or returned them to working order, as they have more firepower. An expedition is required to go there. Probably a good idea to have some mechs.
The Human Edge City. It may have further possible leads on other locations if any social characters want to go there and ask around. There may also be interesting bits for sale or to find, such as historical items of interest, mech parts and supplies or SLDF knit knacks. Some market, investigation and social characters could do well here!
The abandoned spaceport. Possibly dangerous as locals have gone missing there and believe it to be haunted. There are two locations; the control tower and hangars. Both may have leads and valuable stuff inside. An expedition is being organised to go here day 2. Likely a further follow up will be required to explore the part not initially explored.
