"Being squisher just makes things more exciting." The solider replied with a playful wink.

He glanced towards Karlotta. "Still, will do. Don't want to go disappointing you, or giving our Medic an extra reason to to lecture me."

[Felicity]

"An extra reason?" Felicity looked to Karlotta in case she wanted to lay that out.

[Comstar]

Colette laugh. "I think I am a bit too young to have such smart child." She looked at Mata and smiled. "You are very kind monsieur Gates. I think you are ze only one around here wiz zese kind of toys." She remembered. ”Where did you get ze battery? Maybe we can test ze weave."

"Eh? It's a weak thing I borrowed from another shop."

He chuckled. "I suppose we could though - if you had it with you."

She nodded. She took out the weave from her bag. "One never know when one will need somezing like zis." She smiled. "Besides you wanted to know what it does."

[Comstar]

"That's true. Give er a go."

Handing over the powercell, he watched, intently.

She took the battery and connected it. She wondered if it will do something odd.

The cloth seemed to contract, the weave tightening into a rigid square. Perhaps the opposite effect of curling or bending that had been expected - only the edges where it wasn't woven managing to do that.

"An extra reason?" Felicity looked to Karlotta in case she wanted to lay that out.

"Just a turn of phrase, really." Thomas replied with a chuckle. "Though from my experience not too many medics like the type of people that tend to get shot at."

"Always making em work and such."

[Felicity]

"So inconsiderate for soldiers to soldier, si?" Felicity concurs with a chuckle of her own.

"Right." He agreed with a flash of a toothy grin.

"Should try and keep the work down instead."
