Hide and Seek (D4 EA Storage)

[Felicity]

"Oooooh." Felicity got it now. "Eehm, okay."

"Kids grow up fast, si?" Felicity gestured Mata to the compartment entrance so they could more quickly slip away when James began counting. "So, what's the plan?"

[James Hall]

"I think we should set something to fall. That way he will look over there and we can hide somewhere else."

[Felicity]

"Smart. Something that falls after he finishes counting? Any ideas?" They'd have less than a minute to set it up and hide!

[James Hall]

Mata nods. "If we put one of those metal poles on a crate, it should fall."

[Felicity]

"Alright, let's do it."

She helped Mata quickly set up a soon-to-fall pole before hurrying with her to the next compartment over. They both barely hid in time!

[James Hall]

And it worked. James did figure out it was a trick, but by that time, he had wasted too much time. "OK. Time's up. You win."

Mata popped out, not too far from where James was. "Ha!"

[Felicity]

Felicity joined her, hands on her hips. "Ha ha ha!" She hammed up her laugh wonderfully. It was also pretty goofy. "Mata's superior cunning and our hiding skills have bested you!" Her tail swayed left and right rather merrily.

[James Hall]

"Oh. It was Mata's idea?" James beamed. "Just like I told you. Be like the raven. Quick and clever. That's how we succeed." Mata nods.

"Do we have time to play again?"

[Felicity]

"We can play a little more. How about you both go hide this time?" Felicity offered. "You can strategize again if you like."

They play a bit more until Felicity has to go. Mata makes sure to tell her that they can play again sometime.
