[T-1 Evening] Bon Apetite

[Colette Rupelle]

Colette smiled as she saw the eyes slight lit. "How much yeast would you need? I use it for my patiseries... I mean pastries."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea raised her brow at the sudden contact, "Well...if we are going to eat together then may as well grab our comrade and make it most of the lance." She looked at Freja for a second then waved at Felicity. "Would you like to join us as well?"

[James Hall]

Mata waves over the mechwarriors to join them. "There's going to be cake."

James whispers something to her, which replies quietly, "Oops. Sorry."

[Felicity]

Her tail was no longer visible now. She had on that same airy black skirt she clearly liked. The hoodie was different however; a black one. No doubt the red was in the wash after doubling as a sweat towel.

For a moment Felicity glanced between Andrea and Mata. "Eehm..." She then gave Andrea a slight nod. "Okay, thank you." Her gaze moved to Mata and then Andrea again. "Shall we squeeze in there? It might be a bit tight."

[Freja Fogel]

"Yes," she said, looking toward Felicity, then turns to the others. "I think cake is good?"

[Jan Novak]

"That I guess would do nicely." Jan nodded. "So you have experience with sweets. With fermentation too?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea looks at the technician then his daughter, then her fellow mechwarriors. "Cake is fine." She nods then crosses her arms, "...what sort of cake is it?"

She smiled slightly, "As for the tightness. I mean it is technically a mess hall and we just spent time in a much more cramped cockpit."

Where was everyone?

Having finished his meditation for the day (and fending off the fire's call), he followed the sound in the middle deck, peering in more as an observer than a part of things until he saw what was happening.

Oh.

That's where everyone was.

Oh, food could be acquired here?

Interesting - he remembered how food was usually done as a sacred rite within Mo Ishtal - it was interesting to see how it was more of a social event in lady Nyct's terrain.

He, very cautiously and amateurishly, mind, picked out a meal from the selection.

It spoke to the vastness of space that there could be an adult who was an amateur at choosing what food to eat.

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun watches the female MechWarriors deciding what the collective would do and, lest he somehow lose out as a result, claims space near James and Mata and then looks at them intently. If y'all do this in battle, he thinks, I will die of old age waiting for you.

[Felicity]

"I'm sure it's nice cake." Felicity chimed in, before being the first to move to join the technician and his daughter at their booth. She slid her trap in opposite theirs and scooted up to the wall to make space. "This definitely beats a cramped cockpit. We're going to have a lot more cockpit time after we land."
