Watching Warriors Work (DT-1, Afternoon, Simulator Room)

"They have better mechs," she said, having no idea if that was actually true, "do we get extra credit for our handicap?"

It also wasn't clear if she was joking.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

Andrea rubbed her head, "Ah...and looks like I was the only casualty today." She lets out a sigh, "And as Marik said, sometimes an immobile mech is just a bunker."

[Felicity]

"We ought to. Their overall tonnage is higher. I don't know about better. Definitely more armor. Still, that Shadowhawk was more dangerous than the Jenner... este, it just fell down so pitifully." Felicity watched as the four mechs crowded the two immobile enemies and beat down on them. She also looked up to the pod that had their commander in it. "He must be cooking in there."

Her voice became a little quieter. What she had to say was confidential. "Is the boss a masochist?"

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Perhaps he finds the temperature on the ship to cold and desire a bit of warmth." Andrea remarked as the fight continued, "He ran hot in our fight too, I am fairly sure the IR readout put him hot enough to risk the ammo cooking off."

"Is it just because it is a sim for him as well? Or is that how he always fights."

[Felicity]

"... That's true." She was wincing. "He was practically on fire." Felicity sighs and shakes her head. "I hope Miss Crossette will be okay if anything happens to him."

[Freja Fogel]

"He's from Rasalhague too, isn't he? Maybe he's really into sauna's."

There were lots of things she didn't remember; or wasn't entirely clear on; but for some reason sauna's as a cultural thing was not among those things.

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Miss Crossette?" Andrea raised a brow, "...the quartermaster?" She nods in thought, "I see, they must have known each other for awhile."

"Sauna? I suppose, though the mech is more a dry heat...so like a convection oven." Her lip twitches in a smirk, "Maybe he likes baking then?"

[Felicity]

"Maybe he does?" She smirked a little herself. "As for Miss Crossette, si, she is the Quartermaster. She has enough keeping her busy already is what I mean. If she had to make all command decisions too... it would be really terrible for her." Surely Andrea had noticed how little sleep the quartermaster seemed to get?

However, none of that mattered as there was a bright glare from the monitor as something hit the Dragon somewhere very, very bad. "Someone just hit the ammo storage. Who was that? Brutal."

[Snorri Tycho]

Snorri is practically dripping in sweat when he returns to the room to join the other pilots.

"Damn, I could use a cold drink. A cold... Something! "

[Theodore Beker]

Well he still had a cold beer.

"Here you go Mechwarrior," the tech said handing the last beer to Snorri, "I probably should have brought more. Good hustle in that Hussar by the way."
