[Colette Rupelle]

"Salut Madame" She greeted Andrea. "Ça va?" Then she giggled. She looked at Brunn and smiled. She nodded at James. "Pas probleme, Monsieur James. You are ze guardian. I don't mind if you want to keep petite Mademoiselle out of ze kitchen." Colette giggled again. "But if you need a babysitter, I am glad to help."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

« Ça va. Et vous ? » Andrea replies, she ignores the pointed look from Bruun, "It will be good when they are chosen, then we can actually start drilling together. Learn about our lance mates strengths and weaknesses, make a team that actually enhances the former and compensates for the later."

[Felicity]

Felicity also thought the girl ought to be allowed to socialize and learn from others more. That James was being too much of a protective parent. He wasn't exactly going to be on hand to look after her when damaged mechs needed repairs and rearming. However, it wasn't her place to comment so she kept her mouth shut. What she could comment on was team drills.

"We really could use that. Just in case this contract does go South as some keep saying. It could make all the difference."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun rolls his eyes at Andrea but doesn't say anything. He consoles himself with more of his drink, feeling some fire in his belly. At Felicity's comment, he snorts quietly.

"Oh, it's gonna go south alright," he chuckles confidently. "Some backwater planet that history has forgotten and you're bringing a mercenary company on a little treasure hunt? Ain't nobody put up all this cash for battlemechs just to politely keep the locals away."

[Felicity]

"Maybe. If that's the case I'd feel better if we knew about the likely hostiles and we were running simulations against them. Something. Going in blind seems..." She sighed and poked at her meal once more.

[James Hall]

"I thank you for your offer. I may take you up on it."

"Maybe. If that's the case I'd feel better if we knew about the likely hostilities and we were running simulations against them. Something. Going in blind seems..." She sighed and poked at her meal once more.

"Seems like a reason for a drink? Yeah, maybe there's a bit of that tonight too." He gives Felicity a slightly sad smile, but he noticeably doesn't push anything toward her.

"James, if you're gonna put up with what these mechs get into, you're gonna want one of these sooner or later," he smiles at the other man, nudging a small cup of ouzo toward him. "Just none on work time, eh? I've seen that kind of tech before. Bad outcome, all around."

[Andrea DeTroyes]

"Going in blind just means we need to up our recce and remove some of the fog of war no?" Andrea added, "I mean it is not likely any house soldiers are going to just going to show up. And really other then the house armies what else are we likely to face anything beyond a bandits? There aren't even any major periphery powers out here."

[Jan Novak]

Left to his own devices, Jan took a napkin and started calculating something on it.

"El si. Everyone can if they wish." She had responded to Bruun. After this she works to finish her meal as she listens to the general chatter.
