Wide Patrols (Day 1, EA, Rubble Coast)

[Felicity]

"None of us have ranks yet Freja."

She begins to turn to face North. "But North it is. Next time Marik."

Igniting her jump jets, Felicity hopped atop a rocky outcrop for a better view and sensor readings.

"Sure - I wonder what the towns here look like."

And so, Marik follows the patrol up north.

Freja shrugged; which was probably the most useless gesture given shrugs didn't transfer via radio-transmission; and kept a close eye on her read-outs.

"They said that town is the biggest habitation on planet. Can't really call it a city, but anyway. They're probably just small villages and hamlets. Maybe the odd farm, si?"

After a long walk, there was a faint blip on Felicity's scope.

It wasn't much, but it was... something. It was coming from one of the many isolated coves which dotted the shoreline, sheltered inside natural rock outcroppings and rolling terrain.

[Felicity]

Weird.

"I've got a strange reading on the cove ahead. We've still got time to check it out, yea?" Felicity checked the sector and relayed it to Freja and Marik.

[Freja Fogel]

"Define strange," she said, adjusting her mech's positioning in case of an ambush, "any case, sounds more interesting than rocks."

[Felicity]

"The only blip I've had since we left the dropship." That was a little strange, surely?

[Marik Wa Mo Ishtal]

Instinctively, Marik raised his LRM arm.

"Should we assume hostile?"

[Felicity]

"Only if we're fired upon. I can't even see anything dangerous yet. You?"

Nonetheless Felicity slowed her mech to a walk, taking extra care to scan the area.
