The Hetzer, seeing the Wyvern preparing to jump, fired it's massive cannon, the shell arcing out and catching the Wyvern's arm, ripping it off in a massive explosion, but didn't deter the jump. (Hit RA, 20 damage, Arm destroyed, 1 Damage transfers to RT, Piloting roll to remain standing success)
In vengeance, the Fortunate Ones returned fire as they withdrew. The Stinger lanced the Pegasus with it's lasers, flaying armor from the rear. (Hit RR, 5 damage) The Commando also opened fire, hitting the armored vehicle with a 7 of the 10 missiles it fired. The chain of explosions shattered more armor and burst fuel lines - that craft wasn't moving any time soon, and the crew were too shaken to fire their weapons. (Hit FR+RS+RS+RS+RS+RR+RR, 2 damage each, engine further destroyed, crew stunned 1 turn)
The Thorn and Valkyrie both reached out with their own weapons, but couldn't score any hits.
The Valkyrie then punched the hetzer upslope, slapped off an armor panel (Hit RR, 3 damage), the Commando kicked the Pegasus in the side (Hit RS, 5 damage, crew stunned 2 turns) further concussing the vehicle crew, and the Wyvern slammed into the top of the Hezter with a sickening crunch, and then slid off, landing on it's back with a painful thud. (Hit Hetzer FR, 14 damage, moderate motive system damage, Hezter knocked into hex 1805, RL damaged, 9 damage, piloting roll to stay standing failed, piloting roll to avoid injury failed, piloting roll to remain conscious success)
Two more mechs came on scope, an ancient Eisenfaust and Gladiator, so old that the target recognition computer flickered, trying to make the match, chugging through the database and having to think about it for a while.
The enemies continued to give chase, apart from the vehicles, which were either immobilized or staying still to line up shots.
