"Was there a coup on that area? Seems to be more interesting than I thought."

"The Star League fought a protracted battle against the Amaris forces in the late 2500's during the founding of the league. Then sometime during the early 2800 the planet got bombed right off the star maps. I do not believe this planet participated in any significant way in the fall of the Star League itself, but I could be missing some pieces"

"I see. I just figured that any lost system out here would have become that way because of the Coup."

Once there, James got to work, looking for anything that looked like promising salvage.

"I mean you could say the whole 1st Succession war is indirectly related to the coup, and its fall out."

"That's the way of history. Everything is indirectly related to anything." She commented. Not anything deep, even her average education was lacking.

"I can't say I know much about all of that sort of thing myself." Thomas offered with a half smile. "I do know the pilots with us yesterday may of found something on the sensors that may be working reactors though. So that may be useful?"

James could clearly pick out some armor plates that were in good shape, and even a handful of ammo bins that didn't look like they'd been too compromised.

Also a couple of banged up lasers might be recoverable, but that was much more of a toss up.

As for reactors... there didn't seem to be any left intact, perhaps the magnetic containment failsafes set off the sensors?
