D2 LE Cargo Hold - Internal Archeology

[James Hall]

"General Kerensky was born on December 16, 2700." Her tone suggested that was an easy one. "What mech did he have created for him?"

Before Reinhardt could answer, James came up. "I found some interesting items. A large amount of Artemis LRMs, some uniforms from the Star League Defense Force, and some fancy laser rifles." James was still a bit shocked by everything he had found. Mata's eyes opened wide as he listed off his findings.

[Dr. Reinhardt]

"Unfortunately the Quartermaster says we can't use Artemis LRM's, those have likely been sitting here three hundred years. Still they are useful and some good finds, lets get some notes down on what you found and then we can check the next hold." He smiles, "He piloted both an Atlas and an Orion in combat but I had not heard that either was made for him specifically. How old does that make Kerensky the year you were born?"

[James Hall]

James was pretty sure he could get them working, but he left it there.

Mata cocks her head. "He was a great man, but I am pretty sure he is dead by time I was born. Oh. And it was the Atlas. He wanted a mech that was big can scary. So, they made the Atlas."

[Dr. Reinhardt]

"The Atlas was first manufactured in 2755, so it is possible General Kerensky was involved in it's design, even probable. I am not familiar with the details of the Atlas design program, but i also don't know everything." He smiles, "It is possible General Kerensky is still alive and coming back, but it would require him to be in cryogenic stasis for quite a while."

[James Hall]

"Yeah. He wanted a big and scary mech. So, they made the Atlas." She thinks about the the cryogenics possibility for a second. But then she remembers she doesn't know what that is. "What is cryogenic stasis?"

[Dr. Reinhardt]

"Well, break it down, what does Cryo mean?

[James Hall]

Mata shrugs.

[Dr. Reinhardt]

"cryo means cold, what are genetics?"

[James Hall]

"Genetics are the thing that decides what we are. Like why my dad has blonde hair and I have red. They also can decide what things people are better at, but they still need training and hard work. I know how they work too. Do you want to know that?"

[Dr. Reinhardt]

He smiles, "And then Stasis what is that?"
