[D3, EA] The Hunt Begins (Crew Quarters)

[Aloysius Jones]

"Well, this wasn't left for me." He studied the origami. "But, it was meant for someone to find. Either the person most likely to search this bunk, or whomever it would be brought to. If not either of us or your sister, then the captain seems likely."

[Anastasia Winters]

"I see."

She smiled grimly. "Well, neither me, nor my sister, would know what that is, unless dear Luci has been up to no good when I'm not looking."

Interlacing her fingers, she gave him a smile that brought to mind a snake, "So do you think our dear little sensor-operator was the saboteur, or is he the fall guy?"

[Aloysius Jones]

"He was a pawn." he shook his head. "He played his part and was disposed of. It's all too clean. There's no reason to do that, unless there was a concern we'd find something connecting him to whomever is pulling the strings."

[Anastasia Winters]

"Yes, that's a reasonable explanation."

She sighed.

"It begs many additional questions. I don't like any of them."

Leaning back, she rested one hand on her brow, a tempting image, certainly.

"Is there anyone you suspect? Or has the trail gone cold?"

[Aloysius Jones]

"No one yet." He shook his head. "But, I'm not done looking. I will find them for you."

[Anastasia Winters]

"Hmmm."

She smiled, a poisonous grin. "I can't wait."

[Aloysius Jones]

"I'll quietly start talking to the crew and I'll keep you informed." he promised. "If there's anything you need me for, I'll respond immediately, of course."

[Anastasia Winters]

"Very good."

She inspected one nail.

"You may go."

[Aloysius Jones]

"As you wish." He gathered the evidence and departed.

[Anastasia Winters]

As he left, he could see her still lying on the bed, staring thoughtfully at the ceiling.
