Dr. Reinhardt made a crawler run for the lostech that was still sitting up for grabs in the Gates to Hell, he spent a few hours stripping armor off the assault lance both to keep the enemy from finding it, and to provide repair materials for the battle going on elsewhere on the planet.

"Alright, so the name of the game is enemy resource denial, eh?" he sparked up his cutter, "I can do that! Going to start with that PPC. We have too many mechs that are about to get busted using these things not to."

"And it keeps some of us out of the line of fire. Which is fine by me I am way more useful scavenging loot in case we need to run and fight another day than trying to use a gun or some nonsense," he grinned.

[Dr. Reinhardt]

"There is a single Medium Laser still at the Tank graveyard, not sure if it is worth a return trip, and there is about 16 hours of maintenance to do on the Fury to get it fully functional, but we will need some parts either from the town, or the Calico's stores, or both." He chuckles, "And I am sure you will have lots of work to do once the battle is over."

"A regular medium laser or one of these nice pulse jobs?" he patted one of the salvaged guns, "A pulse might be worth a trip later especially with all the other things to do," he sighed, "Don't remind me. I am stressed just thinking of how long it'll take putting all the mechs back together again after the pilots have their fun brawling in them. A week in the hangar for 1 hour of glory."

"Just a normal Medium Laser, we pulled two of the three that were there previously, just ran out of daylight and didn't get to the last one"

"Ah, leave that to later treasure hunters... or later desperation for gear," he grinned, "Obviously the former is better."

James had brought Mata this time considering what happened on the ship. He sent her to look for any neurohelmet circuitry that might be useful while he stripped the last of the armor. She found some, but couldn't tell if it was good or bad. She took a real long time to look at the circuitry and wasn't at all pretending like she was piloting the mechs. So, James showed her how to tell good from bad circuitry. They went through a few mechs finding some circuitry and a few things that might qualify as historical odds and ends.
