[James Hall]

Mata nods. "I also tried the simulatir today, but I couldn't do too much since there isn't a neurohelmet that fits me. But the captain said he could find an aerospace neurohelmet that can, so we're going to try that tomorrow."

[Dorgan Bruun]

Bruun, probably actually encouraged by the rude gesture, chuckled but didn't push it now. I know who needs to be around to make a nickname stick.

The old man of the group smiles as people seem to be playing nicely. Clearly have to watch Snorri in a company like this.

At Mata's remark about neurohelmets, Bruun breaks in. "How old are you, Mata?" He sounds a little disapproving, but not too much so.

Her gaze switched to Snorri as she stood back up. "I don't know if we have any colors. But, uh, as for previous colors." She smiled in a weirdly bemused sort of way. "Does rust count?"

"Hah!" Snorri grinned. "Is that what we are calling ourselves, Rust Squadron?"

[Felicity]

"Dunno. Everything feels pretty loose so far. Maybe that's normal for a new company." Felicity speculates. Then she sinks her hands into her pockets again and smiles. "Rust squadron isn't the worst name I've heard."

Bruun looks shocked, a little sick, and doesn't say anything for awhile.

"Um, hehe, uh," he finally says. "You, uh, just make sure you listen to your dad, there, hotshot." And without any other reaction, he spins and heads back to his mech bay, taking shelter behind one of Blondie's legs.

"Yep. I always do." James gives a rather suspicious look at that. And then another confused look at Brunn's general reaction. She was a bit old to begin training, but it didn't seem his reaction was based on that. Was there another reason?

[Felicity]

Watching the bearded vet leave Felicity appeared pensive for a second. She then turned back to the others. "So, uh, what did you all think about the Briefing?"

With all the subtlety of a missile strike Felicity started a new topic.

[Snorri Tycho]

Snorri shrugged in response to the new topic. Yeah, it was a bit of a divergence but he was hardly going to deprive Felicity of it.

"Well, the job seems straightforward enough, which means it's going to have to go tits up sometime soon. It is kinda a weird dynamic with the Echo Groups bosses and the Major. It's my one worry, them trying to pull rank and make Creed try to make us do something stupid...but that's the business, right? "
