Taking Count (Day T-2, Afternoon, Mech Hangar)

[Felicity]

She chuckled at his mock explosion. "Too much ego leads to all kinds of FUBARs."

At his observation she nods in agreement a couple times. Crossing her arms she makes a thoughtful noise. "Yea, I feel that. Right now I'm torn between being bored or wanting it to stay quiet like this. I think I'll feel more... balanced, yea, more balanced when we're on the ground and I have more to do." She shrugged her left shoulder as she pivoted on her right foot to face back toward the group. "Soooo, you didn't say what brought you here...?" She wasn't an amazing socialite, but she did spot when someone wasn't answering her. She hoped the maverick wasn't some politician's son.

Felicity began to walk back to where Nora and company were. Her breathing was now back under control.

[Snorri Tycho]

"You mean, besides getting to chat up a lovely lady such as yourself? " Her turning around seemed to confirm that she was rather attractive.

His tone becomes more serious. "Where I was born, my choices were to starve, to fight and die in the streets or to fight and die on some battlefield. The military was three hots and a cot. Problem is, when the war is done... " He lets the words hang.

" There are worse places than here"

That earned a sharp laugh. She looked back at him over her shoulder. "Ah, so that's what you were trying to do. Nunca podría haberlo adivinado." With another chuckle, this one softer, she adjusted her cap.

She felt a little bad for the teasing when he shared his past. "Ehmm, that's rough. Yea, there are. Far worse." Felicity stopped and gave a friendly gesture for him to keep up. Her voice became a little gentler too. "You've stared long enough señor. Let's see if Miss Crossette needs anything."

[Snorri Tycho]

Well, she doesn't seem to mind. That's something His flirting was now a bit obvious, but he'd not said anything graphic or demeaning in his mind. She seemed to be enjoying it playfully, though not exactly throwing herself into his arms. He did wish he understood what she had said but he could read tone.

"I can do two things" He responded playfully, hurrying to catch up and join her for the walk back

"Ajá?" She smirked then. "At once?"

[Snorri Tycho]

"That's always the tricky part, isn't it?" Snorri offered a smirk of his own. "Fortunately, you're talking to a fellow mech pilot. We have to multitask don't we? And it's helps to have nimble hands"

[Felicity]

Felicity walked ahead and, without looking back, waggled a finger in the air. "Too strong. Save it for after I see you do more than help me with one crate." He hadn't even taken it by himself.

Pushing out the hems of her skirt, Felicity gave Nora and co a wave as she rejoined the group. "Does anyone need anything?"

[Snorri Tycho]

"Fair enough. I keep my eye on being helpful then"" She had rebuffed him, but not harshly, and hadn't shoved the door shut on the idea. A strategic withdrawal after a tactical defeat seemed to be the call of the day.

He followed along , not chiming until they rejoined the group.
