"Our chef, right?" He looked up. He didn't have good memory for names unless they came from scientists that christened laws and equations. "How much spare starch-rich plants do we have in stock?"

"I am no gardener, monsieur." She smiled. "Colette Rupelle at your service. I may ask the commandant if there is a garden to see what spare plants there are any?"

He was greeted with a wave from Mata.

Bruun returns the wave, smiling at the youngster. He wanders toward father and daughter.

"What's the final verdict on the day, y'all? Did we meet expectations?" he asks with a cocky smirk.

James nods. "I am confident in the team's performance."

Mata hands James the noteputer. "I am done." Which James does. She turns to Brunn. "It was really good. I never saw anything like that before. I bet you'll beat anyone."

"Jan." He uttered without much deliberation. "I misspoke. I am not interested in whole plants, just the starchy parts. Potatoes. Corn. Barley. I'd need some yeast too."

With the sims finished, Andrea decides a meal is in order. She takes stock of the people present. Giving nods to those she knew and stopping to ponder her seating.

Bruun waves to the other mechwarrior, expecting that Mata's take on the day will be favorable regardless of what those in the Sims might feel.

Freja too, arrived to partake in the traditional and necessary intake of nutrients. Food... was a good thing. She noticed Andrea having stopped to consider where to sit; a part of herself she hadn't been acquainted with yet suggesting making a joke about how that hesitation was surely the reason why the woman had been the only one to get killed in the sim, but that felt both meanspirited and not entirely true to the situation. So instead, she opted for a light shoulder bump; one with barely enough force behind it to force a piloting roll to stay upright.

Another pilot arrived in search of sustenance. Furtively approaching the mess, Felicity collected a tray so she could collect a meal and some water. She noted all those present once her tray was loaded up and she moved further into the spacious room to find a booth. Picked a busier time. She hesitated about where to go.

Mata waves to both of the incoming mechwarriors while James does not presume to initiate contact.

Felicity smiles a little and flutters her fingers in the air to gently wave back to the young girl.

"Well the corn is not fresh, but I think there are some potatoes we can spare in the kitchen as for barley... there might be some we can spare as well." She smiled. "What kind of yeast would you like?"

"Bread yeast would be good, or similar." Jan's eyes lit up at the prospect.
